Dishing out Excellent Service: Industry Pro Tips for Libraries Online
We know the importance of excellent customer service skills in the library. But what are some concrete ways that we can make our patrons truly feel welcome to the library? This presentation will look at key training points from the hospitality industry and explore how they can be applied in library settings. Welcoming environments require creating a culture of hospitality that will encourage patrons to return again and again. We'll discuss small things you can do on a daily basis to create or enhance that culture in your space.
