Presenter Jami Yazdani is a management consultant with over 18 years of experience leading innovative projects and planning initiatives. Jami began her library career in circulation roles before earning a library degree and has been a reference librarian, technology librarian, library manager, and library director. She founded Yazdani Consulting and Facilitation in 2018 to help mission-driven organizations lead more impactful projects, teams, and planning. Jami is also the founder of Consultants for Libraries, a community directory of consultants working in libraries, museums, and archives, and has served on the boards of several non-profits and professional associations in leadership, marketing, programming, and mentoring roles. She holds Master's degrees in Library and Information Science and Technology Management, as well as Project Management Professional (PMP), Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM), Change Management, and Wicked Problem Solving Practitioner certifications.

Grant Information

This project is funded under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Florida's LSTA program is administered by the Florida Department of State's Division of Library and Information Services.  

For FY2024-25, 75% of total costs for TBLC Regional Continuing Education ($223,959) is supported with federal government funds (LSTA grant funds); 25% of this program ($74,744) is financed with state government money. The total budget of the project is $298,703.
